Loose Powder

This is the best loose powder I have ever used. The makeup artist helped me choose a shade. Very flattering! She helped me pick this powder to accompany Picture Perfect foundation. When I get help through Chat when ordering on the website, the results are always outstanding! The shade Havre is gorgeous, and it takes a very small amount to set my makeup. It gives a beautiful, invisible finish.

Hello! Thank you for your honest opinion of our Loose Powder. While it doesn't contain sparkles, our Loose Powder does have some mica in it which helps refract light and leaves a luminous finish on the skin. You might prefer our 'one color' Matte Finishing Powder. It also contains mica along with silica and corn starch, but the result is a lightweight, matte finish. I was a huge fan of this powder but a few things have changed. First, you discontinued my shade - I know that pale people are in the minority but you were one of the few makeup houses that carried a pale, cool shade instead of all the myriad of yellow toned shades out there that do not work for me. Second, you added "sparkles" to the powder which makes it lose it's mattifying ability and just does not work on aging skin - and it really annoys my eyes. Please leave the sparkles out. (Healthy skin doesn't need sparkles.) Third, the design of the new flip-top just creates the hugest mess - particularly when traveling. I swore by this powder for years but I have to move on as these changes make it just the same as every other powder instead of the awesome loose powder it used to be.
