Born in Sweden, Helen grew up in the woodland north and has always had a strong connection to nature and plants. At 20, she left Scandinavia for New York City to become a makeup artist and quickly found great success – including as the personal MUA to David Bowie for a decade. Looking to expand on her knowledge about skin and where true beauty comes from, she was drawn to the teachings of Yoga and Ayurveda and studied with many prominent teachers in both USA and India.

She eventually created her own line of skincare, Sweet Botany, that has gained a big following for its profound healing effects and glow-giving formulas. She also happens to have worked for FACE Stockholm for nearly 30 years, as the Lead Educator and Makeup Artist. Now as she focuses fully on her skincare company, she’s honored us with bespoke formulas created for the FACE Stockholm customer, fusing Ayurvedic principles with Scandinavian ingredients. A match made in heaven?
