  | Whether it’s the change of season, an every day need or special event, we have a foundation for every time, place and face. When choosing a foundation you should always consider the following:
• What type of skin you have — Normal, Dry, Oily, Sensitive, or Mature? • What type of coverage you need — Sheer, Medium, or Full? • What finish you prefer — a natural, fresh glow, a satin-dewy look, or a shine-free matte complexion?
We offer a variety of options to help you achieve the flawless look you desire. Below is a comprehensive guide to assist you in selecting the foundation that is right for you. | | | | Skin Type: Oil-free and non-comedogenic for all skin types. Coverage: Sheer to full. This product is applied in layers, so YOU decide how much coverage you want. Finish: A youthful, flawless finish that is luminous and never cake-y or dull. The mineral pigment in this foundation lies on top of the skin to provide incredible coverage, while the mica reflects the light to minimize imperfections. Application: Best applied with our Kabuki or #38 Buffer Brush . Helen Andersson, Lead Makeup Artist and Educator: Start from the hairline moving inwards towards eyes and nose with circular movements. For the lower part of face use downward movements to keep fine hairs (we all have them!) from lifting and moving in different directions — this will ensure a smoother look. | | | | | Skin Type: Normal to dry and mature skin. Coverage: The way you choose to apply it will decide the density of the product on your skin. This is a highly pigmented, creamy opaque formula that disappears into the skin if applied correctly. It provides easy spot coverage and is also buildable for medium to full coverage, without the mask like feel of cream foundations from the past. Finish: A no-fuss, smooth, and flawless, demi-satin finish — or shall we say picture perfect! Application: Apply with a dry sponge or our #34 Foundation Brush for extra coverage. Or try a damp sponge or CLEAN fingers for a more natural look. Tony, Hudson: In a pinch, use Picture Perfect Foundation as a concealer and/or lid primer. Unlike other foundations, which have a tendency to crease if used in this manner, I find that the hyper pigmentation and texture really lends itself to this use. | | | | | Skin Type: Oily skin Coverage: Light to medium Finish: It absorbs oil and smooths skin without drying, for a polished, shine-free, matte finish. Application: Can be applied with dry or slightly damp sponge (for sheer application) or try our #34 Foundation Brush for a little extra coverage. Lauren, SoHo: Apply with our #34 Foundation Brush. Set with Mint Loose Powder , applied with our #38 Brush . This neutralizes redness and sets makeup all day. (Use Magic Wand on the top of lips and around nose to brighten). The result is a clean, fresh face — without looking like you're wearing makeup!
| | | | | Skin Type: Normal, dry and mature skin. Coverage: Sheer to medium. Finish: Natural dewy finish. Application: Can be applied with a dry or slightly damp sponge (for sheer application) or try our #34 Foundation Brush for a little extra coverage. Legend, Time Warner Center: Liquid Foundation has buildable coverage. You can always use a little as a base, but after the initial layer sets, go back over difficult spots with a sponge in a dabbing motion to create more coverage to conceal blemishes or other imperfections. | | | | | Skin Type: For use with all skin types. The binder in this product is natural beeswax; making it ideal even for dry skin. Coverage: Medium to full. Finish: The absolute quickest way to get a very polished matte look. Matte is longer lasting, denser, more dramatic and deflects attention. If you want real coverage without using more than one product, this is the one! Application: Apply using the included sponge for more coverage; for less coverage dampen sponge or use one of our powder brushes . Great for touchups! Nina, Time Warner Center: When feeling a bit shiny, apply Powder Foundation with our #2 Brush for softer coverage. Apply only to forehead, nose, and chin, leaving the cheeks nice and dewy. | | | | | Skin Type: All skin types. Coverage: Sheer. Finish: Translucent shine-free, matte finish. Application: Apply with enclosed puff or pair with our Retractable Brush for easy on-the-go application. Helen Andersson, Lead Makeup Artist and Educator: Perfect for taking down shine without adding a lot of product or color. It sets the makeup underneath and helps your foundation, concealer and camouflage stay in place. It also preps the face for any colored powder cosmetics that will follow, such as powder Blush or Bronzer . Without that fine layer of powder; pigments can grab onto oily or dry patches and look blotchy. | | | | | |
